Introduction Psychometric Tests are useful tools
in today's workplace. Not only do they provide a scientific
basis for selection and development of employees, they
also save incredible time and cost given their ability
to assess candidates rapidly and objectively. However,
these benefits disappear if the tools are not used properly.
It's important for all users of a test to understand the
basic principles of psychometric assessment generally,
in addition to how the test works, how to interpret it,
report and make decisions based upon the test. In order
to ensure that all users of Identity are competent
to use it, PsyAsia International requires users to demonstrate
their competence by way of one of the routes below.
Routes to Accreditation We recognise that people have different
backgrounds and experience with psychometric assessments
and so we provide a number of options to enable clients
to become competent or demonstrate their competence in
Identity:
ROUTE 1 "I have no formal qualification
in psychometric tests." In that case, you would need to attend
both days of the training outlined below. Alternatively,
it would be a wise investment to consider attending our
Psychometric
Assessment at Work course and gain an internationally
recognised qualification!You
will be qualified to use Identity following successful
completion of the course.
ROUTE 2 "I hold the BPS Level A Certificate
of Competence in Occupational Testing (or something very
similar)." In this case, you may omit Day One
of the training outlined below, but will need to attend
Day Two.Alternatively, it
would be a wise investment to consider attending Level
B of our Psychometric
Assessment at Work course and gain an internationally
recognised qualification!You
will be qualified to use Identity following successful
completion of the course.
ROUTE 3 "I hold the BPS Level A &
B Certificates of Competence in Occupational Testing (or
something very similar)." In this case, you are already qualified
to use Identity. Identity was designed
to be an easy tool to convert to following your Level
B training. If you would like to learn more about Identity
from an accredited Psychologist facilitator, feel free
to register for Day Two of the training outlined below.
However, if you agree to purchase the Identity
manual and read it thoroughly, alongside the user and
interpretation guides, you may order Identity
as soon as you are ready!
